1. Manager – Accounts and Finance                                           
Reports to:  General Manager
Department: Finance
Location: Varale, Chakan – Pune
Salary : As per industry standard.
                           
2. Main function of job:
(Note: in addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such other                                                                                     duties as may reasonably be required):
  • Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits
  • Provide recommendations
  • Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
  • Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Manage everything from payrolls to debts, assisting with budgets, reports, and treasury
  • Oversee the recording, tracking, and reporting of financial information
  • Hire, train, and motivate accounting staff members
  • Develop and implement department controls and procedures
  • Ensure that the department operates efficiently without sacrificing accuracy
  • Oversee the work of accountants, review financial statements, and prepare reports for senior management
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Any other projects as assigned by management.
  • Coordinate effectively with Banks and various Consultants.
4. Supervisory responsibilities/position in structure (attach outline organisation chart if appropriate):
  • This role reports to the General Manager.
5. Tools and equipment used:
  • Standard P.C/Laptop
  • Software: Tally, Excel, Word, Power point and any ERP and other software for managing the functions
6. Working conditions/degree of effort required:
  • Must be able to work as part of a small team and to be flexible in the approach to the job.
  • Must be able to “change up a gear” as required in a busy environment.
  • Team work essential.
7. Qualifications/education required:
  • CMA, M.Com with Basic English communication.  
8. Experience required:
  • Managing accounts in a small MNC
  • Should have around 10 years of experience.
9. Specialist training required (Any particular aptitude/skill required)
  • Good telephone manner
  • Basic English -Written and spoken for external agencies like Bank, consultants, HO etc.
